Buy or Sell Your Collectibles and Art Pieces on CollecOnline Marketplace

Dear Collectors,
We have just released an update full of new features! This new version aims to facilitate mutual help and exchange by introducing an improved system of community calls (for identification, estimation...) and a marketplace.
Originally, CollecOnline was conceived as a solution for managing art pieces and collections allowing you to inventory your collectibles while controlling the confidentiality (public gallery, private management or sharing with your network). We have progressively enriched the platform with new functionalities, services, languages and classifications...
To this day we have dedicated ourselves to the development of these different services around collection management (catalogs, accounting, security, custom sharing...) and exchange between members (messaging, collaborative projects, news wall...), voluntarily leaving aside the Buy & Sell aspect (Marketplace).
It is therefore an innovation for CollecOnline to offer you the opportunity to sell your collectibles. From purchase to sale, through the inventory and promotion, you can now manage on CollecOnline the complete life cycle of an object in your collection.
How Does It Work?
From your object page, you now have the possibility to propose an object for sale (For sale, Sold or Reserved).
CollecOnline acts as a third party for correspondence and relations between Sellers and Collectors, which gives you total autonomy to manage your transactions (means of payment, delivery...). You remain the sole master on board to arrange the transaction and we take no commission!
Once an object is offered for sale, you will find it accessible in your Marketplace:
The amount of objects that you can sell simultaneously depends on your subscription plan:
- Free : up to 5 objects
- Classic : up to 100 objects
- Premium : up to 1000 objects
Your Own Online Store
To go further, if you are a regular seller and/or wish to promote an external sales space (your website, ebay store, leboncoin...) it is possible to ask us to create a personal store space on CollecOnline (for Premium users). You will find on this page a detailed explanation of the advantages of a store compared to using your personal account to put items on sale on CollecOnline.
Here are some features available after opening a store :
- Creation of a dedicated space allowing you to differentiate your private collections from your seller's area (example)
- Setting up a blog dedicated to your store in order to promote your offers and improve your SEO.
- Promotion of your object for sale in CollecOnline's Shops alley
- CollecOnline members will be able to follow your store. They will receive a notification when a new item is added to your store.
- Organise private sales: collectors can become a member of your store (upon your validation)
- Co-manage your store with other members (by appointing them as administrator or contributor on your side)
Community Calls
We have been thinking for a long time about making it easier for collectors to help each other and highlighting appeals to the community.
During the creation of an object file you have indeed the possibility to indicate that you need help with this object in order to identify, to estimate, to exchange it or that you are in search of this object. When you use the search engine you now have the possibility to easily filter this type of action in order to help other members looking for information on an object.
