God the Father is a title givent to God in various religions. In mainstream trinitian Christianity, God the Father is regarded as the first person of the Trinity, followed by the second person God the Son (Jesus Christ) and third person God the Holy Spirit.
Original plaque is created in the technique of Basse-Taille and apart from God the Father, depicted the apostles Peter and Paul.
Base-taille is an enamelling technique in which the artist creates a low-relief pattern in metal, usually silver or gold, by engraving or chasing. The entire pattern is created in such a way that its highest point is lower than the surrounding metal. Atranslucent enamel is then applied to the metal, allowing light to reflect from the relief and creating an artistic effect. It was used in the late Middle Ages, and then again in the 17th century.
