Spectacular, extremely rare and desirable consular bust type with the emperor holding eagle-tipped sceptre (scipio) in one hand and additionally globe in the other hand (typically the emperor is only holding scipio). One of the rarest and most interesting busts in my specialized Probus collection.
Jean Guillemain only cites one example if this type in MPR!

Spektakularny, niezwykle rzadki i pożądany typ popiersia konsularnego z cesarzem trzymającym w jednej ręce berło zakończone orłem (scipio), a w drugiej dodatkowo globus (zazwyczaj cesarz trzyma tylko scipio). Jedno z najrzadszych i najciekawszych popiersi w oferowanej specjalistycznej kolekcji Probusa!
