Thai Banknote, 20 Baht (5th Series Type 9), the King Rama IX (Thomas Type), unused, good condition, cardboard, fresh color.

The 20 baht banknotes, Series 5, Series 9 have a similar appearance to the 20 baht banknotes, Series 4 , but the change is to use the portrait of King Rama IX as a watermark instead of using the constitution as it is. Since the banknotes 1 - 4
the important feature that is easy to notice of the 20 baht banknotes, the 5th series is the portrait of King Rama IX, which is a picture of the older age, known as the old face, and the banknote number is printed in black ink. There is no orthography on the word banknote. When lifting, you will see the watermark of the King Rama IX's portrait and see the metal-coated fiber strips embedded vertically on the
banknotes. This 20 baht banknote, Series 5, 9 was announced on December 9, 1957.

letters and numbers : G 10 - R 100, H 1 - R 100, R 1 - R 456 and R 901 - R 905,
Front banknote
The main image is a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the reign of King Rama IX, in uniform on the left. There is an image of Garuda in the upper middle. There is an image of a three-headed Irapod elephant in the lower right corner. There are illustrations at the center position are the Dusida Phirom Throne Hall and the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall. Letters and banknote numbers are printed in black ink. The word banknote has no orthography. When lifted, the metal coated fibers can be seen vertically embedded. and the watermark of the King Rama IX portrait on
the reverse side
The main image is an image of the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall in a frame surrounded by bougainvillea patterns. The penalty for counterfeiting is printed in the bottom center.
