Green patina worn through on the high spots with some scattered deposits. A rare and popular architectural type depicting Trajan’s Column – a massive monument erected by Trajan in commemoration of his Dacian victories. The column, which still stands today, is over 100 feet tall and is decorated with relief carvings which run in an upward spiral around the column. The carvings illustrate in incredible detail various scenes from Trajan’s two Dacian campaigns, and include more than 2,500 individual figures.
