Oman new 50-rial note reported for introduction in July 2020

the Central Bank of Oman is introducing a new 50-rial note in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the rise of the Modern Omani Renaissance and in commemoration of the memory of its founder, the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taymur. The first note in the bank’s sixth series will begin circulating as legal tender in July, followed by all other denominations during the last quarter of 2020.
