BUST TYPE: A = radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from front

Note: Scarce and desirable reverse type from Siscia's 1st issue.

Well struck, on a centric flan, with much silvering remaining, good details and fully legible reverse legend. A rarity in such a condition! (most Aurelian coins from the early issues were poorly struck, on non-centric flans, with regular strike weaknesses and hence are poorly preserved unlike Aurelian's coins struck after the monetary reform of A.D. 274).

Provenance: ex famous Giovanni DATTARI collection formed at the turn of the XIXth and XXth century.

Colección : 01 Aurelian
