The Commemorative Medal of Italian Unity (Medaglia commemorativa dell'Unità d'Italia) is an Italian military decoration that was created by King Victor Emmanuel II of Savoy in 1859, to reward soldiers who distinguished themselves in the battles waged from 1848 to 1870, for the creation of the Kingdom of Italy and the unity of the Italian States.
