The coin was reportedly found at Novi Sad in Serbia. However, there is also a similarity to coins produced by the East Roman mints at Malaga or Cartagena in Spain.
Demo "Ostrogothic coins from collections in Croation ..." p. 228, no 3 shows a similar piece, which was reportedly found in Sisak in the 19th century.
