Medal for the second Battle of Höchstädt (Pfalz) in 1704 and the strategic genius of Francis Eugene of Savoy allowing the capture of 13,000 French and Bavarian soldats with the French Marshal Camille d'Hostun, Count of Tallard.
It was the first major defeat for the armies of Louis XIV in more than fifty years.
