This 13th series banknote is designed in the concept "Celebrating 200 years of Rattanakosin" to join the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Rattanakosin celebrations, therefore taking pictures of important events from the beginning of the establishment of Bangkok as the capital. And the change of government to democracy to put in banknotes 50 baht banknotes, type 13, this is the first price of type 13 banknotes, were announced on August 30, 1985 and exchanged on September 20th 1985

Front banknote : The main color of the banknote is blue. There is a portrait of King Rama IX in the middle right. The army's uniform
royal gown There is a picture of Garuda in the upper left corner and the word Thai government in the middle, leaving a space in the lower left as a watermark. The ground pattern in the middle left is a chakra and a bachelor.

Banknote on the back : The main image is a portrait of King Prajadhipok's statue in front of the National Assembly building in the Dusit Palace area. There is an image of Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall as an illustration on the left. The upper left corner is the royal seal of King Rama VII and the royal name inside a circle
