Beautiful military bust of the finest style with Gorgoneion on cuirass and decorated shield (emperor on horse; soldiers in the background)! Very rare! Virtually as struck with full silvering! Great provenance: ex Philippe Gysen collection = Ex Numismatic Fine Art (NFA) Auktion 33, 1994, 1204.

Radiate, cuirassed and helmeted bust left, holding spear and shield.
Reverse: ADVENTVS PROBI AVG / KAB
Emperor on horseback, riding left, holding short sceptre and raising his hand, captive at his feet.
