I am a multi-disciplinary artist working in the mediums of painting, pastels, ballpoint pen, gel pen, jewelry and mosaics. Recently I’ve been making 3D art exploring the beauty in repetition.
I am currently diagnosed with Bipolar 2 disorder. My manic state is not typical mania. I get hyper focused to the point of neglecting to eat, drink, or take a break. This happens most often while doing artwork.
Past psychiatric treatments and medicines have left a 5 year gap in my memories (Senior year of high school through college). I am an SIB and suicide survivor.
I attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design for illustration and photography. I also attended the Art Institutes International of Minnesota. I did not receive a degree, but I believe I do not need one as my art pieces speak for themselves.
