Boleslaw IV the Curly as Senior Duke of Poland

denarius, type II, Cracow mint (1157 – about 1164)

OBVERSE: Emperor Frederick Barbarossa on the throne with apple of the reign and lily. On either side of him crescents. In 1157, Bolesław paid fief homage to the emperor at Krzyszków near Poznań.

REVERSE: Prince's name in three lines
