"It could be ROME 2 with accidental dot. But on the other hand, this dot looks nice. So maybe the engraver at first marked the place where the star (ROME 19) should be, but when engraving mintmark forgot about star and engraved R and Q with no room for star. Of course, it is only a speculation. ROME 2 with accidental dot is more probable. Or maybe Svoronos was right and there is an unlisted variety with dot in m.m.? But in such case this dot should be a little bit higher."
