The “PRIMI DECENNALES” were a type of Roman religious celebration that took place after the first ten years of an Emperor’s rule. These celebrations marked the completion of the first decade of reign and were seen as a time to give thanks to the gods for their support and guidance.

The celebrations usually involved various religious ceremonies and sacrifices, as well as feasts, games, and other festivities. The “primi decennales” were a significant event in ancient Rome and were an opportunity for rulers to solidify their power and legitimacy among the people.
