Comments:
All 1938 proof denominations had an original mintage of 100 pieces. The threepence was the only one to have sold out. The majority of these mintages were sold abroad, particularly in the United States Of America. 94 coins of the 100 shillings minted were sold, the rest presumably melted down and destroyed.
