A scarce type. These anepigraphic coins honoring the royal family were struck in various cities on the occasion of the Emperor's visit. This coin from the mint at Rome was struck either during Constantine's stay there for his vicennial celebrations, or later when he visited the city for the funeral of his mother Helena.
