



The story is, that Hercules Deusionensi could be the god of the Roman fort DIVITIA on the opposite side of the Rhine accross from Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium (Cologne), today's "Deutz". Which laid within hostile Germanic territory and was connected by a bridge only since 310 AD build under Constantine.
