Numista-1108. ANACS VG10, cert. #4745247.
A lower grade but otherwise pleasing example of the first year of the 1860-1864 copper-nickel type with shield above the reverse wreath. The 1860 came in both pointed and rounded bust varieties, which describes the tip of the bust near the "1" in the date. This, the Rounded Bust variety (Type 2), is more common.
I have always liked copper-nickel Indian cents, which are lighter colored and thicker than their later (1864-1909) bronze counterparts. I thought this was a nice example to acquire for under $20, slab and all.
