Obverse: GALLIENVS AVG Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust to right
Reverse: LVNA LVCIFERA Diana as luna, crescent atop head, advancing to right. Holds lit torch in both hands, drapery billows behind.

Notes: -The Roman goddess Luna, the equivalent of the Greek Selene, came to be associated in Rome with Diana. The reverse can be translated as 'Diana bringer of light'. -The goddess Luna had her own temple on the Aventine Hill, but it was destroyed by the great fire of Rome circa 64 CE during Emperor Nero's reign.
