This coin is part of the rare first phase of Ticinum’s 6th emission according to Karl Pink’s emission classification with greek numerals of officinae (located either in the field or exergue) which are not accompanied by the XXI monetary reform mark. In the much more common and abundant second phase of 6th emission the greek numerals were followed by the XXI mark in the exergue.
