Crowned bust of Queen Elizabeth I left within inner beaded circle, legend around with the Mint mark at the end. Sixth issue, Bust type 3B without rose or date. Mintmark Bell.

Lettering: ELIZAB:D:G:ANG':FR':ET:HIB':REGI':

Translation: Elizabeth by the Grace of God Queen of England, France and Ireland.

Reverse:
Square topped shield of royal arms with Cross Fourche'e through. Mint mark Bell.

Lettering: POSVI DEV; ADIVTOREM MEV;

Translation: I have made God my helper.

Comments:
Hammered silver Shilling of Queen Elizabeth I. Minted as part of the sixth issue, along with the mint mark "Bell" indicating it was struck between the year 1582 or 1583. The obverse features tall bust type 3B facing left, without rose or date. The reverse shows square topped shield of arms with through cross.
