To celebrate this year's Batman™ Day on September 16th, the New Zealand Mint has issued this rectangular silver coin in color. Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in antique finish, the motive of the coin features the superhero Batman™ inspired by Jason Fabok's legendary cover of Detective Comics #1000. Also included in the design are the weight and fineness of the coin, as well as the copyright. The reverse features the official coat of arms of Niue as well as the denomination "TWO DOLLARS".

He has dedicated his life to an endless crusade, a war against all criminals in the name of his murdered parents, who were taken from him when he was just a child.
