Trajan denarius (Aequitas), minted in Rome 108-109

One of my first Trajan's denarii. It is not ideal, but with subtle details of Aequitas and a lovely toning. The flan has slight separations, but I assume it's not suberatus. After years, still in love with this piece.

  • Type: Bust of Trajan, laureate, draped, right (sometimes with aegis) (sometimes draped on left shoulder)
  •  

• Reverse

  • Legend: COS V P P S P Q R OPTIMO PRINC
  • Type: Aequitas, draped, standing left, holding scales in right hand and cornucopiae in left
