Front: Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the 29th of his line, which dates back to the fourteenth century. He ascended the throne in 1967. Besides being the sultan and ruler, he is concurrently the prime minister, Defense and Finance Minister, and head of the religion of Brunei Darussalam. He is considered to be one of the wealthiest people in the world. His official residence is the Royal Palace Istana Nurul Iman, which is also the country's seat of administration. Back: Robotics innovation is Canada’s ongoing contribution to the International Space Station (ISS) program. The Canadian-built Mobile Servicing System is the sophisticated robotics suite that helped to assemble the ISS in orbit. This system consists of Canadarm2, Dextre and the Mobile Base. The astronaut represents all Canadians who have contributed to the space program. The five stars reflects the $5 denomination.
