P. Licinius Crassus M.f, - AR Denarius 55 BC, (18.5 mm, 4.27 g, 12 h), Brockage, Rome. S · C Laureate and diademed head of Venus to right, wearing pendant earring and necklace. Rev. Inches impression of the obverse die. Babelon (Licinia) 18. Crawford 430/1. Sydenham 929. Beautiful toned, well centered and very attractive. 

A fascinating mint error, unique, no other example found in any register which I have checked.
