This issue is the anonymous sibling of the dolphin symbol series. In general, the anonymous coins of this series are consistently of finer style than the symboled coins. This coin is an exception to this general rule in its somewhat crude execution.

This example and the dolphin symboled coins usually display a more petite reverse cape. The eyes of Roma are primitively executed, sometimes just a raised dot as in this example.

In my estimation, the anonymous coins are more commonly seen than the dolphin symboled coins.
