Reverse: ✚ DOVBLE TOVRNOIS, inscription surrounding triple fleur-de-lis.
A small copper coin about the diameter of a modern US cent, from Château-Renault in central France. The portrait and central devices are somewhat weak but the legends are clear.
So many varieties exist of this basic type that I am uncertain of the exact attribution. Just as bewilderingly, the spelling varies from "-Renault" to "-Renaud" to "-Regnault" in various references.
