OLBIA

OLBIA was an ancient Greek colony founded in the sixth century B.C. on the northern coast of the Black Sea . In the sixth to fourth century B.C. it served as the center of trade for the products of the peoples inhabiting this area .

       The coins are commonly reffered to as the "Dolphin" and are typically a brown cast dolphin-shaped coin .These were issued in Olbia in the period from the sixth to the fourth century B.C.
