Roman Empire, Trebonianus Gallus (251-253), Antoninianus, Antioch mint, 3rd emission, ? officina.
Obverse: IMP C C VIB TREB GALLVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind;
Reverse: FELICITAS AVG, Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopia;
Notes: The FELICITAS PVBL reverse type (RIC IV 82) is probably the most common one struck by the Antioch mint for Gallus' third and final emission; on the other hand, this variant with AVG in the reverse is very rare and only listed in RIC for Volusian. All the known examples appear to come from only two reverse dies, shared by the two emperors.
Referenz : RIC IV - (c.f. RIC IV 216 for Volusian - reverse legend otherwise unlisted for Gallus); AHG 7; Gallwey, pl. XVIII, 7;
