      This series of 15 banknotes are designed in the concept "Chakri Dynasty" is to focus on honoring the Thai King in the Chakri Dynasty. It has been issued since 1997.

      This 50 baht banknote Type 15 was the first price of the Series 15 banknote when it was originally issued as a banknote printed on polymer material. Was announced on 7 May 1997 and exchanged on 18 Aug 1997.
