Big crowned king's monogram partially inside a beaded circle. Outside, in legend, is the king's motto, with Gluckstadt mintmark at lower point. Legend is readable clockwise starting from right of the crown.

Lettering: * PIETATE * ET * ⚒ * IUSTITIA *

Translation: With piety and justice.

Reverse:
Crowned shield with arms of Denmark partially inside a beaded or rope circle. Cross with large arms behind shield. Outside the circle is the value in letters with date at end. Legend is readable clockwise starting from right of the crown.

As many other coin of Denmark also this one has a lot of small variants.
