The reverse of the coin is inspired by the jewelry art piece created to be donated to Nicolas II’s mother as a tribute to her merits as a sister of the Red Cross. Inside the white egg, was a red cross. At the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: “Imperial Fabergé Eggs”. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by an intricate design and the inscriptions: “NIUE ISLAND” – the issuing country, “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “1 DOLLAR” – the face value, “2021” – the year of issue and “Ag 999” – the fineness of the Silver.
