This sestertius of Trajan is cited and illustrated in Prof. Woytek’s catalog „Die Reichspragung des Kaisers Traianus”. Next to its valuable provenance, it is also a rare and beautiful piece, gifted with a great style of Trajan’s portrait with my favorite Gorgon head (aegis) on Princeps left shoulder.
