Unique and extremely interesting variant, unlisted in RIC as well as in Alfoldi! A coin of the highest numismatic interest!

A portrait of the finest style. Rare cuirassed bust left instead of right as usual, with wide wreath ties of the corona radiata . Very elaborate bust, with part of waist and aegis on right shoulder visible. 

Very rare variant of this otherwise very popular reverse type in Probus' coinage, with Sol driving a quadriga to left, with the longer reverse legend Soli Invicto AVG instead of just Soli Invicto.  

Beautiful example, with wonderful details and in a lovely, black, shiny patina!
