Gaius Iulius Verus Maximus

"The Most Handsome Ruler" In the Historia Augusta, it is written: "He was so handsome that all wanton women adored him, and some wished to conceive a child with him. He was marked by extraordinary pride; thus, while his father, a very cruel man, would stand in the presence of many dignitaries, he would sit. He led a cheerful life, was very moderate in drinking wine, but gluttonous when it came to food, especially game; he ate only the meat of boar, duck, and crane. He cared so much for his clothing that no woman was more elegant in attire than he. When greeted, he would extend his hand and allow people to kiss his knees, and sometimes even his feet."

He was murdered alongside his father during the siege of Aquileia by rebellious soldiers of the Second Parthian Legion and the Praetorians.
