The CollecOnline platform has been designed to facilitate this task by offering intuitive tools for creating and managing collections. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting out in this fascinating world, this article will guide you through each step to create your own digital collection.

Access to the collection creation function
Step 1 : Access to the collection creation function

Log in to your CollecOnline account.

Go to the left sidebar and click on "My collections".

Click on "Add a collection".
- Collection title: Enter the desired name for your collection. The name should be descriptive to facilitate identification.
- Description: Describe your collection.
- Illustration image: Click on the "Add an image" icon. Select an image from your computer or device. This image will be displayed as a thumbnail for your collection in the mosaic view (see image management tutorial).
- Collection visibility: Choose who can see your collection:
- Public: Visible to all users.
- Private: Only you can see the collection.
- Relation: Visible only to people you have designated or accepted as relations.
- Click on the "next" button to continue
Step 3 : Select the category of your object ("Classification" tab)
- In this tab, you will be presented with a drop-down list or selection of categories.
- Choose the category that best suits your collection, e.g. "Coins", "Art and Antiques", etc.
- Click on the "next" button to continue

3D gallery settings: Explore the different 3D gallery templates offered by CollecOnline.

Select the model you like best: This 3D gallery will be used to visualize your collection, either privately or when sharing with the general public.

Once you have completed all the fields, click on "Save" to save your collection.
