To start this September on the right note, we are very pleased to announce the creation of our new brand Metagellan associated to a new website www.Metagellan.com !
What will change for you?
In reality, not much! CollecOnline will remain your collection management solution. We will continue to improve this platform to meet your needs, and we will soon launch an evolution of the search engine that should please you!
We simply decided to separate our activities in 2, with on one side CollecOnline dedicated to your collections, and on the other side Metagellan specialized in 3D virtual exhibitions and events organization, all in a metaverse.
What is Metagellan?
It is a platform facilitating access to the metaverse for gallery owners, artists and brands. We offer a wide range of services: purchase, rental and customization of virtual galleries - construction of buildings and immersive places - organization of events - the creation of wearables & POAP...
Our innovative MaaS (Metaverse as a Service) solution allows you to manage the content of your rooms in real-time, from a traditional website! Thanks to our bulk import tools and our collection management solution (including NFTs), you can deploy and maintain large collections.
With Metagellan, you can deploy your projects in a few clicks on our 40 LAND, or create your project on your own virtual terrain.
What is a metaverse?
A metaverse is a virtual, open and persistent universe. These worlds, generally in 3D, allow visitors to interact with each other through a customizable avatar.
Several visions of the metaverse are currently in conflict. Meta for example (formerly Facebook) proposes a centralized metaverse and sets all the rules: architecture, social interactions, and commission on sales (50% advertised on digital objects...).
In contrast, metavers from the web3 world are decentralized, free and interoperable. They also include the principle of ownership through the use of NFT technology. The most mature metaverse, for example, Decentraland, has its own cryptocurrency (MANA), its virtual lands take the form of NFT, its governance is a DAO, and its storage protocol is based on IPFS (decentralized storage).
Often mistakenly equated with video games or virtual reality, a metaverse allows you to be the actor of your own story by buying your land, modeling your infrastructure, starting your business...

The virtual CollecOnline gallery is open for visits
Several months ago, we opened our CollecOnline Gallery, displaying the art and collectibles of CollecOnline members. This space is always open, and you can visit us at any time of the day or night, 7 days a week.
