Note: a great example of Aurelian's denarius . Aurelian's attempt to restore the denarius into general circulation ultimately failed. Virtually as struck and with almost full original silvering. Very rare in such an exceptional state of preservation.

Wspaniały, okołomenniczy egzemplarz ciekawego i dość rzadkiego nominału bilonowego w mennictwie Aureliana jakim był denar. Egzemplarz z prawie pełnym zachowanym srebrzeniem powierzchniowym. Bardzo rzadki w tak świetnym stanie zachowania. Mimo podjętej reformy menniczej Aurelianowi ostatecznie nie udało się przywrócić na trwale denara do powszechnego obiegu. Po Aurelianie zaprzestano definitywnie wybijania denarów.
