Comments: 

Among the earliest denarii varieties,  This group 1 variation is really a separate type, stylistically similar to group 1 but with a broader head and with a 3 bar visor instead of the 2 bar visor more commonly seen on group 1 coins.  The reverse style is found, and in some cases die linked to coins of group 3 and 4.
