KINGS of THRACE, Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm Lampsakos mint. Struck circa 297/6-282/1 BC. Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Reverse: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟY Athena seated left, holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right hand and leaning with her left arm on shield decorated with lion's head; in inner left field, monogram; in exergue, crescent to left. Müller 398. Thompson 54. Good very fine, nealy EF.
