Marcus Baebius Tamphilus:
Tamphilus belonged to the plebeian gens Baebia. His life is unknown, but he was probably the grandson of Marcus Baebius Tamphilus, Consul in 181 BC, and possible father of Baebius, Tribune of the Plebs in 103. The latter attempted to oppose Saturninus' agrarian laws, and was possibly put to death by Marius.
