About the pendant

One of the most important aspects of the Occult is that of The Tetragrammaton. The 19th century occultist Eliphas Levi constructed this pentagram

The Tetragrammaton is a Greek word meaning 'the four lettered name' and represents the four lettered name of god; the four Hebrew letters Yod, Heh, Vav, Heh, which transliterates into YHVH

It is a five-pointed star inscribed in a circumference, which gives rise to five spaces between circumference and star.

In the upper left space are the letters TE of the tetragrammaton.

- In the upper right space there are the letters TRA of the word tetragrammaton:

- TRA letters of the word tetragrammaton.

- On the right arm a chalice, symbol of abundance and the drink of immortality.

- In the lower left space is the word TON of the tetragrammaton. In the lower right space is the word GRAM of the tetragrammaton and the metallic blocks representing the metals of the seven esoteric planets.

- In the lower space is the guardian sword of Eden and symbol of will and justice.

The meaning of its components

1. 5-pointed star

A symbol that since its inception represents:

- Androgynous, hermaphrodite

- With the point downwards and the two points upwards, it calls the tenebrous, the demons.

- With the point upwards it calls the luminous ones, the gods, and makes the tenebrous ones, the demons, flee.

- On the threshold of a door with the point inward and the two points outward it does not allow the demons to pass.

Each of its five points represents an element: Air, Fire, Earth, Water and spirit.

The upper corner represents the head of the pentagram:

* Downwards towards the center appears first the Sign of Jupiter, father of all the gods.

* Then the two eyes represent the invisible vigilance which he exercises in everything and always.

The two horizontal angles represent the arms of the pentagram. Towards the center is first

The sign of Mars. Then the Hebrew letters of the tetragrammaton.

The two lower angles represent the legs of the pentagram. Towards the center is first

The sign of the lead, then the Hebrew letters of the tetragrammaton.

In the center of the star, there is the scales representing justice, good and evil, night and day, man and woman, in short the eternal struggle of opposites.

Below the center of the star, and towards the vertex of union of the two lower angles, is the Caduceus, symbol of authority, emblem of peace and insignia of medicine.

2. The Tetragrammaton

- It is the theonym in Hebrew, which identifies the God of Israel through the Hebrew Bible, composed of the Hebrew letters Yodh He Waw He, written from right to left in Hebrew language, and transliterated as YHWH or YHVH to other languages.

- It is the word inscribed in the outermost part of the circumference.

3. Metals representative of the seven esoteric planets:

There are seven metallic ingots under the word Gramm: Silver for the Moon. Mercury for Mercury. Copper for Venus. Gold for the Sun. Iron for Mars. Tin for Jupiter and Lead for Saturn.
