I've got a question for you related to MIDB. Ashlea Karkula, an artist who has practiced at Interact since 2014, made a large homage to the Minnesota State Fair using hundreds of pieces of candy that she sourced from across the country. Titled Midway at the Fair Candy Art, the piece depicts the Minnesota State Fair, with attractions like the ferris wheel and haunted house.
Ashlea made this piece with the intention of placing it in the care of a children's hospital, or a place where children receive care. Her intention is to share a sense of happiness and humor with it. Recently, someone purchased the piece in hopes of making Ashlea's vision more possible. The donor has indicated that they would like Interact's assistance with placing it at an institution that honors Ashlea's vision.
I'm wondering if you think the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain might be interested in accepting this artwork donation for their new building's collection. Here are the details:
