In the Giovanni Bovi studies [STUDI DI NUMISMATICA (1934-1984) DEL DOTTOR GIOVANNI BOVI, NAPOLI 1989], he reports that this type of coin was issued for a value of 4000 ducats, including the tari. 3970 were thrown to the people during a ride in honor of the Prince's birth and the remaining 30 served for the purchasing of bags and accessories to use during the ride.
