denarius, first type of coins of Boleslaw the Bold, dated 1070-1076, Cracow mint. Primitive style of obverse.
OBVERSE: Prince on horseback to the left with a spear and shild, behind the rider mint mark (9 points).
REVERSE: Head left in pearl border, in outer perl border legend BEZLAVS.
A nice preserved coin, with old, deep patina.
