The year 2024 is all about the dragon, so is the new issue of the 1 kilo copper coin. The artist Beni Debacker has again created an impressive illustration for this issue. Beni Debacker first works out a drawing, which is then transferred by him to a plaster, from which the minting die is then created.
From the initial drawing to the finished coin, a lot of work and love goes into each piece. Together with the traditional Belgian mint P. De Greef, not only beautiful coins are created each time, but also works of art that attract great attention all over the world.
