Obverse: FL IVL CONSTANTIVS PERP AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing, his head turned slightly to right, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman spearing a fallen foe, over his left shoulder

Reverse:  GLORIA REI PVBLICAE / SMANΔ• Roma, helmeted, seated facing on the left, and Constantinopolis, turreted, seated to left, placing her right foot on prow, holding between them a shield inscribed VOT / XXX / MVLT / XXXX.

Note: This bust type was first introduced under Constantius II and remained the model military bust type for late Roman solidi and early Bizyntine solidi for the next 200 years. Over time the style and artistry of this bust deteriorated.  

The circumscription is VOT XXX MVLT / XXXX = Votis Tricennalibus Multis Quadcennalibus, Vows on the thirtieth anniversary [of rule], more for his [hoped for] fortieth anniversary.
