Annia Aurelia Galeria Lucilla Augusta

"Venus Victrix" Annia Aurelia Galeria Lucilla (born 149 CE in Rome – died 183 CE on Capri) was the second daughter of Marcus Aurelius and Faustina the Younger. From 164 CE, following her marriage in Ephesus, she was the wife of the Roman Emperor Lucius Verus, with whom she had a daughter of unknown name. After his death, she married the prominent commander Titus Claudius Pompeianus in 169 CE, and they had a son, Tiberius Claudius Pompeianus Quintianus, known as Pompeianus, who later became a senator.

In 182 CE, under the accusation of participating in a conspiracy, Lucilla was exiled to the island of Capri (Capreae) by her brother, Emperor Commodus, and subsequently executed there on his orders.

Venus Victrix, depicted on the reverse of a coin, symbolizes the military successes of Lucilla's husband and her brother.
